Swiss Grossbauer – Craftsmanship and quality from the heart of Switzerland
Swiss Grossbauer is an award-winning farmhouse cheese that captures the very essence of Switzerland. With its smooth, semi-firm and pleasantly moist texture, it offers a rich aroma of fresh butter, cultured dairy and freshly cut grass. The flavour is beautifully balanced, with a gentle saltiness and a light acidity that gives a refreshing lift on the palate.
It is made with milk from five family farms located just four kilometres from the dairy, where the cows graze daily on lush meadows. This creates ideal conditions for producing rich, flavourful milk – perfect for our artisanal cheese.

The cheese is produced at the foot of Mount Nollen in Thurgau by the Vogel family, between Lake Constance and Säntis – a location that gives it a distinctive character shaped by the region’s agriculture and proud cheese-making traditions.
