In October, the pears for our Birehong are harvested – the varieties Gelbmöstler, Schellen- and Schweizer Wasserbirnen. Pear juice equivalent to about 15 pears is slowly reduced to a syrup-like substance, filled with the flavor of sun-ripened pears and the Swiss terroir, without added sugar.

Our Birehong originates from Central Switzerland, the birthplace of Switzerland and centuries of traditions. It is a vintage product without an expiration date, no added sugar or other nonsense, just genuine ingredients.

Fantastic as a complement to cheese but also useful for desserts, dishes, pastries, etc. Or simply drizzle it over yogurt. It becomes heavenly with blue cheese. Ridiculously good with our Gruyères. En guete!
